Situated at the crossroads of the Mare and Orb Rivers, Hérépian is a classic South of France village, full of pretty stone houses and small, independent shops such as the legendary Charcuterie Aninat, which featured in Rick Stein's culinary tour of the Canal du Midi, three bakeries, a number of small bars, and L'Ochre Rouge, one of the best restaurants in the region.
